Yea, Black was always a lot of work. I pretty much changed over to mostly all white vehicles a couple decades ago, but just in recent years do now have a couple black vehicles again, neither are daily drivers, so it’s not as big deal now.

Always loved all the old G body GM cars.
I had that Monte SS , later had. an olds 442, also had a v8 Regal at one point.
The olds 442 was probably my favorite of 3 G bodies.
When I bought my first Grand National back in '88 I was actually in the market for an 83-84 Hurst Olds. I saw a Grand National at a car dealership so I stopped to look. The salesman came out and said "you wanna drive it?" I was like hell yeah. Of course he came with me. About a half a mile down the road I pull onto the highway and got after it a little and I said "I'll take it." 🙂

Think about it? Heck, I'm still driving it to work almost everyday. My first new vehicle. She turns 30 in a few months!
