Anyone ever think about their old cars?

I keep seeing this for sale. The same color blue as the back half of my ghia but the price kills me. My ghia was 1200 bucks and took me through being in the army in the mid 90s. I drove it all over the south eastern states. Man, what a fun car

Mine wasn't a GT, but I was just thinking about this fun little car I had in high school. The damn thing had the all too familiar rusted-thru rear axle support, but a cheap weld job got me through to being able to resell it. The 1974 Chevy Vega was a memorable fun little car.

As a matter of fact I was doing just today.

I had my first new car a 1986 Mote Carlo SS ‘s windows to tinted 40 years ago at the same tint shop that I still use today back in my home town.

As a 1986 graduate, my classmate, who's family had money, got a new SS in '85 or '86. I vividly remember him power braking it right behind a school bus, which was headed the same way we were. Massive smoke. Thing was killer!

Man that brought back memories! I had a Cosworth Vega in high school. They made something like 250hp! ( When a standard VEGA made like 70hp...). It was 3 years old and
had 60k on it when I bought it and was already falling apart.... But I sold a 65 VW bug to get it so it was one hell of an upgrade!

I might have gone through more then few sets of rear tires on my SS myself.
Great memories !!!

Went through a lot more with the Firebird Formula 350.
It's FI 350, had quite bit more power than the SS's 4 barrel 305.
Both were a lot of fun.

Tha Firebird was a doughnut making drift machine.
