Anyone installed a Roll Bar on their G6 Ranger?

I wish ford made a nice factory one for north America. It seems the rest of the planet gets one or two choices for their Rangers

Same here. I kind of like the ones they put on the Wildtrack series outside of the US, but it would hide the 3rd brake light on the US Rangers. Oh well.

You looking for a bar to mount lights, the only roll bar is something welded to the frame like in race vehicles. Try rolling something with that flimsy bar in the back.

It's more for looks and yes I would like to attach a light bar on it eventually.

This is a Blackhorse, a bit over-priced and a bit not a perfect fit.

I wanted some bed rail protectors in one piece with the roll bar, and this was one of the options. The triangular perforated insert isn't truly parallel to the bed. That drove me crazy trying to get better, and I gave up.

I also wanted to keep the plastic cap on the bed rail, so I made some insert spacers to land the frame on. The ranger's 3rd light is visible, I haven't hooked up the roll bar's light yet, mostly because I'm hearing how sensitive the OEM wiring is to tapping.

Installation mostly sucked, and I can say I'm an experienced metal worker who didn't want to make my own bars. It's lighter than what I could make, and it's pretty sturdy.

It doesn't take a whole lot to improve passenger survivability on a pick up. I've seen some flimsy headache racks keep the cab up on rollovers, but I've seen very few pickups that rolled that didn't collapse the cab. I won't own a pickup without a rack or a roll bar.
