Every once in a while walking past the truck at night I notice that the gauge cluster display is "on" but only showing the gear selection. The first time I noticed it I had the proximity key on me so I figured it just sensed me walking up and was preparing to unlock but there have been numerous times I've noticed it with keys nowhere near the truck.

Have you tried turning off all data/information sharing/gathering capabilities? I've never noticed mine doing that but I keep the information sharing gremlins off! Lol

I believe so, I have tried turning auto updates off and it still did it, I also have the setting to send diagnostics off as well. I'm not sure if I'm missing anything else.

Noticed mine doing this tonight. Same as you. Key was in the faraday box in the house. Truck wasn’t clicking, though. Hopefully doesn’t drain the battery.
I haven't taken it to the dealership yet as I figured I'd just bring up all my little issues at my first service vs bothering them 10x lol... So I still don't know what's up with it but I am starting to believe it is draining the battery. The past few days we've noticed the chime (door, parking sensors, lane keep, ect) has changed tones. Looking online the change in the chime could possibly indicate low voltage or bad battery...

Navigation also shares info, double check when you turn it on and off you'll see other things go off and a warning of what it also turns on when activating it. Note, mine has the 8 inch cluster but they're all electronc and controlled through the Sync. Turn off Ford pass if using it to. I know F150s had a recall on clusters but they were losing guages and whole cluster illumination. Let me add what that blue light is, it is the backlight for your guage cluster. The screens are LCD and needs the backlight to show the guages. Something is waking it up from sleep mode. So anything that can commnicate with or to the truck can wake it up. Should not draw enought to run battery down unless it stays on all the time 24/7 for week or more.

Just to chime in here....my '25 Lariat did this occasionally and I couldn't put it together. It's like it's not registering that it's time to go to sleep....something was keeping it awake.

That being said, I haven't experienced this issue since I got the update for the brake issue/recall.

Interesting! I haven't had the break booster recall come up yet. Just the airbag, although I feel like I should have the recall? Break booster makes that weird clicking noise and breaks feel kindof soft. It's a Canadian truck though, I wonder if the break recall is for u.s. market trucks at the moment..
