Haven't driven the truck? Or haven't driven with new exhaust? How's it soo clean under the body???!?

Did you install it yourself? Was it hard to get off the OEM one? I just bought this cat-back for my 2.7

I just ordered the axle/muffler back with black tips. They are sold out and said 3-4 weeks to ship. I wanted turndown tips and black and couldn't find anything else. Shipping is free within Canada (they are a Canadian company). Would like to do a Trombone for the pre-muffler section as well when someone makes/sells them.

Edit: So much for 3-4 weeks, just got a notification that it shipped today. I should get it mid to late next week and plan to install next weekend.

MBRP "Axleback" with black tips installed. Small ship (easy to touch up) on one tip due to poor packaging and two clamps were slightly small (couldn't slide on). Other than that fit was pretty good but there is very low tolerance to be able to have it so the tips fit right and there are no parts of the exhaust touching the chassis/other parts.

Regarding sound, I can't tell a difference in Quiet or normal but it definitely has some added volume and "bite" in Sport and Baja. I did not weigh either system but would assume this is slightly lighter.

Thx. No and I wouldn’t expect it to. Sounds the same in quiet or normal which I would use on Hwy. For the other two modes it’s just a bit louder and raspier. Otherwise relatively same as stock.

Thanks, I notice I get a bit of drone on the highway with the stock exhaust and sport or baja mode. It,s great in quiet mode, I didn't want to ruin that.

I installed this is on my truck as well. Quiet mode actually got quieter…. only hear tire noise, ac fan, and wind noise.

That said it barks when you jump on it. Absolutely love the MBRP. Also Oxford white raptor so the black turn down tips work. Factory chrome being only chrome on truck looked horrible

I think you’re right but I just thought it was me (quiet mode). I only had the truck for a week and usually just in normal so I assumed it remained the same. It was very quiet when driving mellow in quiet. And agree, black with all the black accents much better for a white truck than silver/chrome.

Got some highway driving and a bit of off-roading. No drone in quiet or normal. I’d say same as stock with Sport or Baja. Long steepish hill at 120kph (72 mph ish) in Baja was the only time it was annoying. But left it in normal for most of the drive and it was great.

Further Update, took a road trip from Vancouver, BC to Whistler BC. Did some mild off roading (Forest service roads but this is early spring so roads still had some snow, fallen trees, ruts etc. I didn't notice at this time but I worked the rear tailpipe section loos (shifter so both down tips were pointing in towards the rear tire). I then drove North on the Duffy Lake through Lillooet, BC, Lytton, Merritt and on to Kelowna where I noticed the left tip was just hanging on by...the hanger. I just yanked it out and drove the remainder of the trip with it off and will reinstall and refit the other side this week. In Rally the noise was NOT fun on highway (drone) but neither is the stock one (110kmphr-130 specially). Otherwise I really enjoyed it (along with my guilty pleasure Turbosmart BOV). Truck handled everything I did and was way more comfortable than I expected.

I'm doing some sound deadening and stereo upgrades, It should drown out the noise.....I hope! Thanks for the feedback.

Audio upgrade? You have a thread to follow this? Interested...
No, not yet. I'll have all the components later this week. Doing Focal speakers, Hertz sub/amp with Sound Good Stereo Kicker box, and sound deadening the doors and maybe the roof. If I can pull the front of the headliner down I may try and just do the front half of the cab. I'm following basically the same setup the member from Manitoba did for the sub, except I'm using the American Adventures Lab amp rack so you should take a look at his thread.
