Got my hands on a 6G Lariat FX4 V6, but really struggling with the limitations in being able to mount auxiliary lighting up front. I recently purchased a KC flex era 10" bar (the one with 4 lights in combo), and was envisioning mounting it in that gap below the front license plate. But then I realized the radar is right there, and can't block that! Then I thought I'd buy one of those license plate brackets, but the stock license bracket seems to be riveted into the front molding (and there's no metal behind it there). It seems sturdy, but I don't like the idea of the weight of a metal license bracket and the $400 lights being mounted on plastic. The 6G really really needs some aftermarket support (the front molding is just begging for a SSO type stealth bumper application!). Anyone have any success or ideas?
