I am in a walking boot so I can’t drive, been almost 2 weeks 😖😖
I went out to my truck today and it would not start. I jumped it using a jump box and it is running. In fortunately, I now have all these codes coming up. The brake light, the ABS light and one on the top left, I think is collision avoidance. Plus I get all these warnings when I start it up.

charge battery with a battery charger, as you cant drive it, and clear codes if you have a code reader, forscan can also reset the bms once you charge it

reset the Battery Monitoring System (BMS) on a 2024 Ford Ranger, turn the ignition to "On" (engine off), flash the high beams five times, then press the brake pedal three times, watching for the battery light to flash, indicating a successful reset for a new battery or after a power disruption.

Get a battery charger/maintainer. I could not drive for six weeks after surgery so I kept one on my then F150 with no cranking issues. In this cold weather I keep one on my wife's Escape Hybrid since we only drive it once a week and it likes to go into sleep mode. Lots of recommendations for good ones on the Forum.

That didn’t work, I’ll have to try my code reader tomorrow. But thanks.

Always remember ,on todays new vehicle, to attach the ground lead of the charger to a body ground. Not the negative terminal of the battery. It all has to do with "battery state of charge" and how the computer measures the fresh charge. I keep a battery maintainer wired to the system and utilize it whenever my truck sets for longer then a week.

So, still no luck with all of the warning lights. I had 12.3 volts this morning so I put it on a charger all day. It’s now at 12.7, I did the reset process and got the battery to flash 3 times, but when I start it all of the lights/warnings are still present. What is next? Can I drive it to the dealer?

Call the dealer, tell the service people what is going on, and they will advise you. I had an issue with the OEM AGM battery in my 2021 F150 that went bad at 20K, warranty expired of course, and threw all kinds of codes. Would not clear but would still start. My service manager said as long as the check engine light was not on and flashing it was driveable. Drove it 20 miles to the dealer. Had a new larger capacity AGM battery installed. Codes cleared. No issues.

So, I called the dealer when the warnings came on this morning to ask if it was safe to drive. They said yes and I started out for the dealership about 35 miles away. Halfway there all the warning lights were gone so I pulled over and stopped/started several times and so far no warnings. I’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens.

Your battery seems suspect. Driving it might have charged the battery to the point where the codes cleared. Your call but I would get that battery and system checked under warranty.

I agree you should get it to your dealership for a once over but regardless of that outcome I would get a battery tender. If I’ve learned anything about new battery technology it is a tender will prolong battery life.

I drive my RR every 3 or 4 days. In between those drives I keep it on a CTEK. Learned that from this forum and it’s been good advice.
