I installed one first day I got my RR. I figured keeping oil at the top will help on startups and help so I don't get the cam phaser issue.

What kind of modifications did you do to make clearance for the filter the bracket holding the charge pipe looks to be in the way on mine?

I called them up and they recommend using the Wix 57060xp filter. Works perfect because the length of the filter is shorter and fits under the hose.

I see that you look to have trimmed the charge pipe bracket a bit and also if the wix filter is as hard to easily find as it is for me for you a good alternative is the fram 12060 it’s the same shorter height just make sure to use the ultra synthetic or the synthetic endurance I prefer the endurance since there not actually made by fram there made by champion labs who also make the Amsoil filters and in testing the Amsoil and the synthetic endurance are almost identical

I didn't trim anything. I think I just manually nudged the pipe to the side some with a pry bar to give a tad more clearance. I will say the manufacturer images looked like theirs had way more room which is why I called them. Maybe each truck the clearance is slightly different?
The wix filter is pretty easy to find online.

I just bent the bracket, did not take much. I use the Mobil 1 212A filter.
