I have been exploring ideas for box storage and organization for long haul/ camping trips. I would ideally have a rack that could hold jerry can, camping supplies etc. Solutions that fit under a tonneau cover are ideal. Anything from low to high budget. Any shared ideas/ pics are appreciated.

I have and use various pelican cases including the cargo cases and really like the Plano sportsman's trunks on the cheaper end especially once a seal is added for dust intrusion (cheap and easy modification)

There are many options out there. There's a company "Decked" that makes drawer systems for trucks and SUVs. I've never priced them out so don't know what they cost.

I pull a teardrop trailer into pretty remote areas and plan to add a tonneau and maybe a bed rack. But most of my gear lives in the trailer. So all that will be in our Ranger's bed are water jugs, extra propane tank(s), large cooler and few other odds and ends.

Kuat now makes a very nice bed rack called the Ibex. Looks great and very versatile, but very pricey. Billie Bars are simple bed rack system.

Check out this site for more ideas: https://forum.expeditionportal.com/ (lots of aftermarket and DIY stuff there)

I just ordered one of these trail storage containers and it seems pretty impressive. There are a couple size options. I was able to go with a smaller one and fit the Bubba Rope, sift shackles, hitch etc all in there. It has a nice gasket with great handles. I have no affiliation with them and it was my first purchase all seemed great!

I was looking at the Tonneau Buddy that’s on realtruck.com. It looks like it has alot of room for storage(at least for picking up groceries lol)

I am going to go with Xtrusion Overland Camper or the BYND4x4 camper. Right now they don't make campers for the Ranger but I think they will make it in the future. Right now I'm rocking the Xtrusion Overland bed rack on my Tacoma and been loving it. Gives you a lot of options of what you want to do with the rack.

My plan is a roll up tonneau cover and some molle panels on the insides of the bed that are permanently installed. This will add some bed organization for day to day and then a place to mount gear for roadtrips.

Planning to build a ~8” high rack with 8020 that mounts to the stake pockets for carrying additional gear and bikes above the bed.

These are exactly what I use. The Sportman trunks are cheap and fairly durable. Run a $2 gasket around the lid and they're also dust and water resistant. I keep my tools and recovery gear in one tote and my Badlands offroad jack in the other.

Do you know what molle panels you're going with? I made a post here on the forum specifically asking if anyone was making custom molle panels yet. I'll probably add a bed cap to mine instead of a rack, but I certainly am interested in the molle panels for the 3 sides.
