So after a lot of research and feedback I went with a local So Cal seller of retractable bed covers that also was compatible with the Yakima Overhaul HD racks - SyneticUSA
Great price and I was surprised that the hardware (See pictures) seemed custom for the Ranger using pre existing holes
Super happy with the results!

Nice! I have the exact same one, although I take it off for the winters in Michigan due to all the car washes required to remove road salt. I'm really happy with mine as well. Can't wait to get those kayaks up on it this year! Cheers.

So the mounts slide into the slots on the sides of the retractable deck lid?, just checking as I am looking for a solution for my 2024 tremor that has sports bar and retractable lid...

Yes but I also had to buy the Yakima Tonneau Kit which provides a rubber pad and hardware to mount them to the slots. Had to modify it very slightly. Take a look at them on line to see if they will work for you

Thank you.

Yes, because it is not a perfect seal, it does let in a bit of rain/water.

I have a question about the installation. I purchased the SyneticUSA AR PRO for my 2024 Ranger Raptor. They send me a separate bag of hardware. I noticed on one of your pictures that you used this same hardware. I assume they replace the standard aluminum brackets that come with the original box of the cover. I am a bit confused, because the installation guide says it is for a MR model. How did it work for you, because it looks like that bracket at the tailgate is not bolted down in your picture. Or was that picture taken halfway through the installation? Anyway, tomorrow morning I am going to give the installation a shot.

Yes use those custom brackets! That worked excellent for me. I originally started to install the aluminum ones until I realized the extra bag was custom fit brackets. And yes that was during the install process

After a bit of a shipping delay, installed the AR-Pro yesterday. Bit of fiddling for alignment but seemed to go on well. I think I was missing a set of bolts for the middle bracket but had some hardware on hand, and one allen wrench broke on the long end. Other than that, very happy with the product. Its definitely a newer "upgraded" model - some slight differences vs the install video.

Seems like a bit of a gap near the cab - like the thick foam strip for the bulkhead might be a touch too thick. Figure I will let it compress for a couple weeks and then put a wrench on it to snug it down before trying to trim the foam itself. I did initially add the thin weatherstripping but pulled that off which reduced the gap a bit

I did RTV the stake pockets but they are completely covered. I'll see how well it keeps water out on the next rain.

GoRhino XRS crossbars going on next. The end caps don't look removable on the Synetic cover so going to have to source some other T nuts/bolts.

Hey how do you like the Yakima over time ?
I have the Retrax XR and thinking about the Synetic R1S rack, cheaper.

Also wondering what is your tire/wheel setup (model and sizes) ?
Got my winter setup for now but I like the tlook of your tires.

Hi Chuck
I have sold my RR... I liked it but to quote my wife "I was driving it like an asshole..." and someone made me an offer I could not turn down.

I would say go Yakima especially right now with Black Friday - The guy who bought my truck didn't want it so I sold it for almost what I paid for it (Holds it value)

Here is my wheel set up - FMI 2" Collars + Falken Wildpeak AT4 35/11.50/17 on 17x8.5 +25 offset KMC KM552 Wheels
I went Toyo Grappler AT3 on my new ride because they are 3 peak rated and super light

Looks very clean. I have the Retrax Tonneau cover and going to by the Overhaul HD to haul my longboards with the SUP Dawg carrier. Are these 55" or 60" crossbars?

Thank You! That was why I had them as well. I sold the truck last August but think they are the 60" To be sure go to the Yakima website and see what they recommend for the Ranger.
