On my XLT when I have the Gauges view showing, the Boost and Oil always say 0psi but the visual meters change as I drive. What is expected here?

He’s saying the 0 psi even though the bar is moving if it’s a 5 psi still says 0

It just showing you the range not the value you have to extrapolate . I believe the Procal show all the reading when youre in datalog mode.

The oil sensor dose not send a psi signal, common across the ford line. We all have tried with Forscan but no dice!

The guage is calibrated to go from 0 -100 psi. Just like your fuel guage is calibrated to go from E-F. The 0 figure and 100 figure are fixed. When the vehicle is operating, your guage shows where your pressure is at on the scale between 0 and 100 psi.

And your fuel gage always shows E on the bottom end, even when you have a full tank indicated! Those are the ranges of the gage!

For aesthetics, I think Ford could have put the unit of measure beside the temperature gauge shown in this post. Also put the range at top and bottom of the gauge. The formatting just seems off.

Its just because those are bar graphs. Like mentioned above, if the white bar is at the bottom, its 0 psi and at the top, its 40psi. Same for the other two.

I have a plug in programmer for my wife's wrangler. It gives you the options to see other gages while driving. I turned in boost one time, just to see what it goes to when floored. I had to turn that gage off because it was reading 32 or 35 psi and that seems excessive to me. For the jl wranglers, its called a tazer. I wish those dudes made one for the ranger because i set and see.all kinds of things using the steering wheel buttons with it.

Okay so it is just a range. Thanks for the clarification, all.
