Hey guys,

We are deep into our cabinet design and want feedback from the Ranger 6G members before we kick these off for prototyping.

What storage features matter most for those of you running toppers or bed/racks, etc.?

We want to hear it all. We often incorporate customer feedback into what we build.

Cheers,

I'm having a hard time figuring out the picture. It looks like a couple of RJ45 patch panel to me

What I did with my rack is run some SUV, three-pocket cargo nets from behind the side panels. Easy access to frequently used stuff, like day packs, plus easy access to stuff in the bed with a simple unclasping of a carabiner. You come up with something with that simplicity and ease of access, you'll be selling them like hotcakes.

Molle panels on the backside of the shelves.

You can definitely use certain-sized carabiners anywhere on the MOLLE. Our goal is to make the cabinet as universal as possible and accommodate several different categories of equipment from off road, everyday utility, camping, hunting, medical equipment etc.

We are also considering adding a removable central shelf. Would that be something of interest for you?

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. I'm not in the market, but when I was, the two things that made me against side lockers was lack of bed access, and permanent gear blocking rear visibility. I solved my issues with grocery cargo nets.

If you guys could come up with a solution to either, or both of those hang ups, but in a metal (or, I guess, carbon fiber) format, you'd have another advantage over the competition. Maybe it's collapsable in design? Hinged bottom plate? Double latched to open the door or the door and cabinet together, like a two layer armrest? That'll take some engineering, but you guys are already selling a fairly bespoke item. Go for broke.
