Hey guys,

I recently installed a TruXedo TruXport (Gen 2) soft roll-up tonneau cover, and I was wondering what products you use to protect yours and keep it looking shiny for as long as possible.

I have a few products for black plastic trim, but since the cover isn’t really plastic, I’m not sure they would be suitable.

I’d love to hear from those of you who have had a soft tonneau cover for a few years.

I don’t usually do anything to them, but Aerospace 303 works great. I have the same Truxedo cover on my Ranger and it still looks perfect after two summers and a brutal central NY winter.

I have been using Aerospace 303 on all exterior surfaces that aren’t painted (including my tonneau covers) for about 10 years and nothing compares. Such an amazing product. Highly recommend.

They hold up well as is. I had a Truxedo on my '21 for 3 years, 60k miles. Regular washing is all it ever got and was still in great shape when I traded it in.

The RealTruck TruXedo Pro-Tex Tonneau Cleaner is formulated to keep the vinyl looking like new. You can also use it on other surfaces, like the dash, trim, and even the tires. It's water based and silicone-free, so there's no unsightly residue buildup or streaking.

I've never used anything on any roll up tonneau cover. They either last until I change trucks or I change the cover.

I'll second Aerospace 303.

I bought a used truxedo off a wrecked 01 frontier in the junkyard and put it on my 01 frontier, 6 or 7 years back. It looked great just going through the car wash and I still see the guy who bought the truck from me with it. Those are very well made covers
