Hey forum, long time no see.

Finally have something new to share. I found a local deal where, if I bought a set of wheels and tires, the shop will install a Level Kit for me for free. I wanted a true suspension upgrade, but I'm tired of waiting and I want better tires than stock for winter. Plus, when I do upgrade, it's not like I'm out anything (other than alignment) by ditching my level kit later.

Here's the "New Look" Cactus Jack!

Here's the details for ya. The shop sourced a Rough Country Level Kit. I asked the tech how the install was, and he said it was smooth and nothing different than any other level kit. Tires are Wildpeak AT4Ws, C Load in 285/70-17. Wheels are Lock Offroad Baja 17x9, 0 Offset.

There IS considerable rubbing with the 0 Offset, it's a little more aggressive than I was looking for, but boy does it look good! We had to remove the little air dams in front of the tires, and I still need to do some molding or trimming on the front of the wheel well liner.

I am doing my alignment today, and either the shop didn't balance the tires very well or they forgot, but I am going for a road force balance when I do my alignment to get the positive camber adjusted as I'm getting a steering wheel wobble at the usual 55-60mph. A little dialing in to do, but it finally has the look I've been wanting!
