Has any one installed the S&B CAI for the 2.7. If so how has it been? I just placed my order should be here in about 10 days

Not sure if these provide any functional purpose? I mean no added HP, maybe some sound with Turbo running, but why do guys put these on without a tune, which sort of makes better sense? Just asking.

So far is have a cai and intercooler. Next is hot and cold pipes and exhaust. Then I'll tune it

I don't hear much difference, but the air flows much better to the turbos, creating a Lil more power.
any proof of this? All data shows even on a dyno, no added power with just the cold air? I would love to know!

The stock air box is pretty good. Ford figured out air boxes for the Ecoboosts a while ago. I would rather have a snorkle on the stock box than a CAI. I have a tune, intercooler, and charge pipes on a 2.7. Air temp is more important to me than "flow" or sound.

A good snorkel would be nice.

Honestly I just love the way they sound! And yes a tune would make sense with a CAI. I was thinking the ford performance one
