I really can't answer your question, but I recall the same questions on the Maverick Truck Club forum. If I remember correctly the bottom line was some bed covers manufacturers designs worked without issue and some wouldn't. You might do a search on that site to see some responses. I can tell you the cargo management rails work without issue with my Undercover Ultra Flex tri-fold cover installed on my Maverick. I'm waiting on the 2.7L to become available to order, when that happens I'm ordering a Ranger.

A few of the covers on the Ford Accessories page state that they are incompatible with the rails. I'd guess that if you are getting a cover similar to the ones without that disclaimer, you should be good. Most of the ones on there are rebranded version of the major brands anyway. Many have install instruction here.

I have the CMS and a X4s installed without interference issues. I suspect the MX4 will as well, since its rails are very similar to the X4s’s.

Sounds like the X4ts should install too. Thanks for the confirmation, now I’m wondering if the retrax will fit? Any pictures?
