This morning I got in my truck and headed into town. My center display and gauge cluster were both so dim that I could barely see what was displayed. What the heck? I tried adjusting the gauge brightness to the highest level and it didn’t help. Then I went to the center display and tried to increase the brightness there. Still no change.
I hadn’t changed any settings last night, the last time I drove the truck, I hadn’t gotten a OTA update. So I couldn’t fix it and didn’t know why it changed. I got into the truck a couple of hours later snd both displays were both really dim. I was trying to figure out why, what changed. Yesterday I had stopped at the post office and picked up my mail and had put it on the dash right in the center. I removed the mail which was still on the dash. Immediately my displays brightened up. DOH
Just thought I’d share this in case someone else experiences this.
