Center rear seat belt indicator

First time I’ve had passengers in the back seat since I’ve owned the truck and when they sat in the back seats all three seat belt lights came on. They buckled up and the two outside seat lights went off but the center seat stayed on. We had to buckle an empty seat to stop the chime and turn the indicator off. Passengers were 125lbs and 165lbs so not big people. On the trip now so I’ll take it in when we return. I just replied to the windshield wiper thread too so guess I’ll have them check that.

I've had that happen a few times. Usually when one of the passengers puts a purse or something on the middle seat. Annoying for sure. Have had to turn off truck and restart to clear it.

You can turn off the rear occupant seatbelt alerts from the settings in the center console.

Probably is an error, but you can turn off the alert until the error is corrected, so the alert isn’t popping up and bugging the tar out of you….if you wish

Happens to me all the time. Mostly when some one accidentally tries to use center seat belt then uses correct one. Theirs goes green but center stays red. I simply open and close drivers door to reset. Red goes off and we are good.
