Damaged plastic trim

My left rear door took some damage loading some heavy equipment in my back seat. It appears to be a scratch/gouge but it pretty shallow. Anyone know how to repair something like this?

Honestly, for that I'd just lightly superglue it to keep it from cracking more. Or possibly take a soldering iron and very carefully melt it together. It obviously won't make it disappear but nothing wrong with a few battle scars!

Otherwise youre looking at just replacing the entire trim piece

If you want to hide any scratches black china marker or crayon can fill and hide damages. Apply and wipe flush right after. Light scuffs, a little nose grease will hide it.

I would probably use a black magic marker with a real thin/sharp tip and just lightly go over the cut

I like the crayon idea! Never thought of the crayon, but see how it might work as a 5-10 footer or quick glance over. Got one I’m going to try this on shortly. Great idea!

Mr clean magic eraser with China marker does wonders to blend it
