See here is the funny thing.. YOU are jumping to conclusions where you did not understand my Decision process on the order.... FIRST My dealer where I am at now... is ALOT smaller than Planet Ford is... PLanet Ford is one of the Largest Ford dealerships in the Houston area... They can get More trucks and possible more allocations that my Local smaller dealership... I did Not think the guy ahead of me at my small dealership would pull out.... SOOO what I did was I kept myself in their books (because I would rather get my truck from them if I had to choose plainly because it is with people I can trust and I worked with in the past)... But at the same time with the Limited allocation of the truck... I would of figured if I stayed with my local dealership then I would not get it till sometime LATER NEXT year..... SOOO I decided to go to Planet Ford.... They told me at the time they had 4 Allocations with 3 already Taken.. there was one more... SOO I yeah you know what lets try this.... So I put in the order and they booked me up WITHOUT a deposit... Afterwords I was Talking to @Craneop1972 where I found out that ALL dealers only get 1 Allocation... So I was like ok FINE.. its cool.. I am in NO rush to get the truck ASAP.. I leave my order as stand... and IF another allocation hits my Local dealership then I go back and cancel my order If I did not get a production date or if the truck as not been shipped yet.... with 3 other orders ahead of me.. I found it possible that My Order would be like I wanted it to be where it come in closer to the end of the year. But Now as of last Month... My Dealers 1st Allocation opened up and they where able to work me on a BETTER deal with a lesser Mark up than what PLanet Ford had... AND there had not been a production date yet... so BECAUSE they gave me a better deal then what I would get with Planet Ford... AND they would WORKED with me to try to get the truck later and not as Fast as possible.. and even gave me a full Prcie breakdown with the Mark up and TTL.. I felt confident to put in my $1k deposit on the truck.. and worked out a Plan to still get the truck and work on getting the monthly cost DOWN to where I want it by March or April Next year.... SOO This is what made me decide to go with them and cancel my order with Planet Ford... If none of this happened... I would still be with Planet Ford to this date.
Not attacking you or criticizing your decision.
Your explanation just further proves my point that it was obvious to the dealer that you might pull out, therefore they left the listing live on their site to get more interested parties on their waitlist.

As someone else has stated, 1000's of these vehicles have been produced by now, and there's probably around 100 listings on dealer sites across the US. Some are genuine stock orders that don't have deposits on them yet and the rest are "sold" trucks that dealers still want to keep their options open in case someone like you jumps ship.
The dealers that trust a deal is solid have pulled the listings off of their sites.

Brooo you missed it that I was 4th in line… not first or 2nd or 3rd.. but 4th… also the listing on there website is showing “In Transit” and I can see that they can’t delete a truck that marked as In transit.. only when it’s on Lot that they can delete it if I look at it from a technical standpoint

I wonder how my dealer managed to delete the listing for my truck which was "in transit"within 1 day from when it was posted. Must be magic.
Must be the ghost of Henry Ford himself.

again we can only speculate but I feel that they maybe can or can’t do it… if they can then there is a chance that since they deleted it… they can’t put it back up as a new car…

I find it funny people argue something so vehemently based on their own opinion and not fact or even knowledge.

Fun fact, the reason you can go to ford.com and build/price then find trucks that match or are similar from all ford dealers, is because it all comes from the same system...
Everyone in here is an expert, as long as they just believe everything the self proclaimed experts say.
This guy @t88supra is the same guy that argued with me on a Facebook group about priority codes. He acted the same way. Used his ALL CAPS as though that was going to force me to agreeing with him. This guy brags about being in the industry for 20+ years, still he knows absolutely nothing about priority codes, yet I’m supposed to take his opinion about how Fords websites and dealer websites work.
The priority code system changed over a year ago and this guy is still unaware of the changes.
And to your point about not knowing anything and arguing vehemently about something I don’t know anything about, just shows how you and the rest of the guys on here that think y’all know it all, you guys think yall are the end all say all experts.

just because someone doesn’t automatically agree with what you or someone else says doesn’t make that person unknowledgeable or stupid. Everyone has the right to question the validity of the subject.
As I said in a previous post, with all the trucks that are built or in production, with the theory that the trucks automatically populate on a dealerships website why aren’t there 100’s if not thousands of rangers and raptors posted across the country? Its only a few dozen of the Raptors that stay posted so the greedy dealerships can mark them up and have the desperate guys bidding on them.
I’m definitely not claiming to be a tech guy or an expert in any field except in my personal job position. But at the same time if something doesn’t seem right to me I have the right to question it if I see fit.
That also doesn’t make me less than anyone and it also doesn’t make you or anyone else a expert

To everyone else, this guy knows nothing about the industry.... I am not going to respond to him directly because he loves to bully and bash everything I have to say. He has tracked me down after I blocked him on the facebook ranger platform to try and make himself feel good and persist to send me nasty emails and direct messages. he is a complete idiot and thinks he knows how this is run at the dealership level..... at this point I just feel sorry for him, apparently he needs the attention.
