Dee Zee Tailgate Assist?

Anyone use the Dee Zee tailgate assist for their '24 RR? Fit good? Hold up ok?

All '24 Rangers come with tailgate assist. No need to buy it later.

I found out the same thing on my 2025.

But maybe there is a Ford accessory that fits? The parts diagram shows a "lift cylinder", part number N1WZ-26442A38-B, on the driver's side of the tailgate. It also shows a ball stud, part number N1WZ-26404A42-A.

By the way, I can't tell that the stock torsion rod does much on its own to dampen the tailgate.

The torsion bar helps take the weight off. Not dampen. And all 24+ now come with the dampener.

If by dampener you mean the " lift cylinder" that I linked above, my 2025 XL did not come with one.

Then, yes. Use the factory ones as the previous ones are made for last Gen that didn't come with them.
