Launch control and trail turn assist options // Ranger Raptor

Hi,

Is there a launch control for Ranger Raptor available? This one video shows like it is there.


and is there an option for activating trail turn assist? Will it be unlocked by OTA or new car option only?

No launch control that I know of. I activated trail turn with Forscan. Need to make a change in the APIM module to get the option on the off-road screen with the lockers and make a change to the ABS module to turn it on.

In the video he just turned off the traction control and foot-braked to his desired launch RPM.

No actual launch control - but there are settings that work best (ie: Sport everything and in 4A) and with a decent amount of brake boost

Ok, so brake+acceleration pedals at the same time. Interesting, how bad is it for transmission and other stuff?
Will look in to forscan. Any manual, advice?

I would be cautious launching by holding the brake, that’s how I blew out my rear axle

That is my concern as well =) I used to be taught not to press both brake and acceleration at the same time
