If you Google "Ford Service AdvancedTrac" or "Ford failed wheel speed sensor" There's a lot of links from Ford & people who have had either issue and how to fix it.

Keep in mind if Ford finds wiring that looks like it was chewed up by mice it's not covered by your warranty.

I know they wont cover but Ford shouldn't use Soy based wiring that rodents like.

I think virtually all major modern car manufacturers use soy-based wiring

Probably too big. Let me try this. Video revesed but you get the idea.

I get the forward collision warning every once in a while. I blame it on the cracked windshield reflecting light at the camera.


I wonder id you do have a wire issue, or a loose plug?

If you're concerned about it being a lemon, the biggest thing you can do is take it back to service and describe exactly what happened, and let them figure out the answers. Also keep copies of all the paperwork you get.

I am already doing that. I just wanted to find out if other Ranger owners have these "ghosts in the machine". It's getting a little old and these truck is brand new.
