Diode Dynamics H11 SL2 reviews / feedback?

Hello,

i have a 25 XL. I am thinking about upgrading the stock halogen fog lamp bulbs to diode dynamics H11 SL2’s as they are on sale for Black Friday. I’m curious if anyone on here has these installed or can vouch for this company.

I understand it's aesthetics, but 6000k color temp is awful for rain/snow/fog. You want warmer white so 4300k or lower.

I had SL1's in my 2017 Expedition, they were fantastic, matched the LED driving lights perfectly. Get the CANBUS anti-flicker modules at the same time, you might need them. I'd do it again but already have LED's in my XLT.

I'd spend the bit extra, and get 19-23 DD elite series if you want oem+ or the ss3 pro/max if you want max performance. I put a set of Elites in my 25 xlt(lvl 2 led fog) they use the same plug as the lvl 1 halogen fogs

Thanks! I reached out to them to see if I will need the modules. I’m coming over from the Audi/VW group and you can’t do anything over there without coding something out so I was curious if these would be plug and play or not.

just looking for bulb replacements. The housings have already had ppf applied.

Drew731 I know this is an old thread but did you ever install the bulbs? I'm looking do this to my 25 STX as well . Looking to just plug and play without any extra modules .

I bought them, just haven’t gotten around to installing them. It’s about ten degrees where I’m at haha! I will update you.
