2025 Lariat. This message is letterboxed on the screen when turning on the auxiliary cameras while driving.

What does this message mean?
Is there a way to disable it? I can't find a way to click "OK" to make it go away.

I was trying to get a better look at the car that kept looking like it was going to hit me on the Cross Island Parkway (Queens, NYC) the other day and that stupid message pretty much blocks anything of interest in the car behind you. I was trying to see if the driver was paying attention to traffic or playing on their phone and I could only see that message where the driver would be. Sure enough they gave me a little love top. No damage.

Pretty sure this was removed on a software update? Have a look to see if you have the latest software

For me it was a safety hazard. I use my camera to sporadically. checking on my trailer, to make sure my straps didnt come loose on some expensive cabniets, or my atv, or when I was towing my old parts suv to the recyclers. and that display was right in the middle of where the tiedowns were. so I disabled it using forscan. I didnt have the bright yellow straps on yet in this one. but right where the box is too, would of blocked them. or like when I was hauling custom hardwork expensive cabinets in my trailer, and wanted to make sure they didnt shift..

Is Forscan the only way to get rid of the message? Nothing I can click on?
Maybe not the right thread, but does Forscan affect your warrantee? My first Ranger was a lemon and needed the Ford buyback. So I'm definitely skeptical about altering the vehicle at this point.

Thanks

Yes it is only way, unless you can convince the dealer to do it. No it wont. they have to prove say that disabling that box blew your engine.... just like they can't deny a headlight because you added rain vent visors, or put a lift in. I just had my truck in for a the 12month or 16,000kms inspection to keep my warranty, I do all my own maintenance, they scanned even the truck. paper report "no issues found" and I changed a bit in forscan. Always back up the original files before you make any changes and take note of what you changed so its easy to revert back if something doesnt work out. I have multiple back ups of the factory data when I bought the truck, and used my vin to down the asbuikt data she rolled off the line with, and every time I go in forscan I make a updated back up sepperate from the factory data and when I bought it.
