Why won’t they let me see? "Full View Not Available" on rear camera view

just curious, is there a reason the black box with “Full View Not Available” is in the center of the rear camera unless the truck is in reverse? I could maybe see while driving but even in Park, there it is…
Does ForScan have a work around? Why is Ford restricting my view of the world from inside my rolling castle???

Has t be one of the most annoying features. I understand you can turn that message off with ForScan.

Yup you can turn it off through Forscan, I did it last weekend.

This brings up two questions.
Why display that message in the center-top of the screen, and not lower out of camera view?
But most importantly, why can't have Full View?
The "Please check surroundings for safety" would be easier with Full View. No?

I agree 100%, I actually reported it to NHTSA as a safety concern as it blocked the view of my trailer when towing. https://www.nhtsa.gov/?nhtsaId=11738102.

If others do the same it might get actioned by Ford.

There’s a video on YouTube with an owner of a F150 using Forscan to get rid of it. I just followed his directions.

Hey there's something stuck in your trailer hitch.

I know, right? Pulled my powercat receiver plug out of my 2001 Dakota and the pin hole is totally different depth location on it's shaft. I always assumed there was a "standard". Eventually, I will redrill the plastic or buy a new one.
