It’s good to see more options coming to market for these trucks. Dobinsons is huge in Australia, but I haven’t seen much of in North America.

And your truck looks awesome.

That looks really nice and like a proper suspension upgrade, not just a cheap lift (priced accordingly). A couple of months in after some settlement and break-in are we to assume it's still riding nice and you're still happy with your choice?

Did you end up adding a RTT and did that level the truck some as you expected (not sure why it wouldn't)?

Do you know what springs you went with front and rear since they offer several different options? I'm also going to be running a RTT and hopefully an awning, but I also tow my track car around with ~500lb tongue weight so a bit of extra capacity in the rear would be nice. Also hoping for a bull bar if ARB ever decides to actually sell anything in the US

I just got my truck back recently from installing the Dobinsons lift kit. This lift

I ended up getting new wheels and tires at the same time. Went with these Method wheels with 0 offset 701 in bronze
For tires, I went with ko3 BFG AT in 285/70/r17 size

While I was at it, I replaced the upper control arms with these from SuperPRO USA UCA

The rear sits a little higher. I could probably crank the front lift a little bit higher to sit truly level but right now it doesn't bug me and i don't want to put extra strain on the components up front. I'm also going to put a RTT on the rack so that may sink the rear just a little bit.

The ride is much better than stock in my opinon. I really like the stance and I like that the 0 offset gives just the smallest amount of tire poke out the side. I've only been driving it a few hundred miles but so far I'm very happy with the dobinsons kit.

The sample size is too small but so far it seems like I may have lost ~1 MPG with the lift and tires.

I hadn't seen many people on here post about the Dobinsons kit but the company has a pretty great reputation and after talking to their reps at Overland expo I pulled the trigger. It's definitely pricey, especially with the reservoir option but I have no reason to regret the purchase so far.

Any updates on this kit and how it’s doing? Getting more travel and better ride? What settings did you adjust too?

sorry folks been off this site for a bit.

im a few months in and i have no regrets on this lift. everything rides a little better and the truck feels great.

I did add a RTT and it did help level it a little bit. I am still a little bit lower in the front but i dont mind it that much. i dont feel like cranking the lift up in the front just to sit more level and sacrifice the ride since it is my daily driver.

as far as the front and rear springs, i went with unloaded springs in the front and 200lb springs in the back to accomodate the extra weight i knew id be putting on the back

just wrote a little bit about this above here, but wanted to add i have not made any adjustments to things like the springs as the folks at 4 wheel parts dialed it in to a place that i was very happy with. i havent done any extreme off roading or anything but on simple-medium trails/obstacles, the truck has barely flinched. travel seems fine and nothing is alarming me.

my wife's bronco is more capable but that is not terribly surprising as she also has a wildtrak model and it is just a little more purpose built for off roading. that being said, i dont do any extreme off roading and the truck does fine and now has clearance im more comfortable with underneath

Very good choice. I recently purchased a 2-inch Dobinsons IMS suspension. I haven't had any problems with it, but have you had any problems with the suspension ball joints from factory?
