DRL’s not working in daylight

My DRL’s are not coming on
in daylight.

I have headlights on auto

I have DRL’s turned on on the info screen.

I turned both off and turned back on.

They work fine when the headlights come on, just won’t turn on automatically during daylight.

Am i missing something?

Not trying to be Captain Obvious here but they don't come on unless the vehicle is in gear.

That did it! I guess that’s why they are called driving lights.

I’ve never claimed to be all that bright. I’m also foliccaly challenged. Maybe they are correlated!

Haha it's no problem. The only reason I knew this was I was parked in front of a convenience store the other day waiting for my girlfriend to run in and grab something and in the reflection of the glass on the storefront I noticed they turned off when I put it in park. Otherwise I might have been in the same boat as you.
