Electrical / Battery Problems

I've had my 24 Ranger Raptor for 3 weeks now and started getting a weird message through the FordPass App. stating " Vehicle in Battery Saver Mode" and the truck has now failed to start twice.

Has anyone else had a similar problem? Battery connections seem to be good and all is well while driving the truck.

Maybe a bad battery. Our 2021 powerboost F150 wouldn't update until we replaced the battery. F150's have had a lot of low quality batteries.

Truck has failed to start 4 times now... all within the past 2 days. It's crazy that a brand new vehicle would have this problem.

You ought to check out the Maverick truck club forum for post on terms like dead battery, deep sleep, won’t start, etc. it’s horrendous, mostly on the hybrid version of the truck. Most are buy portable jump boxes or battery tenders. I think some of it is the crappy battery management system and its software programming. Some have gone and bought AGM batteries out of there own pocket since ford will rarely replace them under warranty. Good luck

The local dealer promptly replaced the battery under warranty. Hopefully, it was just a faulty battery and not a systemic problem with the electrical system. Fingers crossed!!!

Hey there. I just bought a 25 RR and am having the same issue. Dealer replaced the battery and a week or so later the truck didn’t start. Had them look at it again today and they gave it back saying they could not replicate the issue.

did you have any luck on your end figuring out the source of the issue?

Just need a battery reset switch on engine off high beem 5 times and brake 3 times thats it
