What are you guys connecting to you plug and play accessory connectors? Thinking about purchasing grill kit and side vents but can’t I just hook those to aux leads? Wondering what the benefits are.

also, for those of you with reverse kit, it is necessary to purchase 7 pin easy adaptor? Pros/cons

thank you

I have the grill kits in both my RRs and I have both wired into the Aux 1 switch and leave it on all the time.

Not familiar with the other kits your asking about.

I am familiar with redundant wiring of brake / turn / backup lights that I have in my headache rack, and I have it wired into through what I think you're refereeing to as a 7-pin easy adapter, which taps into the back side of the trailer pug.
The downside to that setup, is the truck thinks it has a trailer hooked to it all the time.
I have spoken with Ford fleet tech support and my local dealer, no one seems to know how to turn off auto trailer detection in a Ranger. They apparently can turn it off on the larger F150s, and HDs, but not able to turn off auto trailer detection in the Rangers.

My solution to get my blindside monitors and a some of my safety features back online was to program a trailer profile for my headache rack to think it has a 2'-foot-long trailer.

Hey @GiJoesGT Currently only Amber is available. White is coming very soon. I am expecting about a 1 month wait.

Thank you for your support!
Do you know when/if the WHITE Ranger Raptor LED Grill Kit is going to be available? It has been a couple of months since the AMBER release. I am making my Black Friday shopping list and was hoping to include the WHITE Ranger Raptor LED Grill Kit.

Got my grill lights and puddle lights installed tonight on the black RR build.

Did the cut and splice method again, much essier.

Your grill lights look much better than mine. Even with the new version I couldn’t get all 3 of them to set flush in the pocket.

I learned best to push down on the light and pull it back into place with the wire harness while pressing down on the light drag it back into the socket.

ā€˜If I only push from the front of the grill only I would get it stuck not quite flush.

if you dont mind not having the back rack lights as brake and marker only, no turn functionality, theres a way to remove the trailer error, while still using trailer plug for ground, marker, and reverse. the ford body builder layout book(aka upfitter guide). if you want them as STT lights, possibly a converter. 3 - 2 trailer converter, and use the brake signal from the wire the upfitter guide says to run, and then tap the turn signals in the tail lights.

the puto tailgate strip uses the tail lights. but you can not buy the harness from them, its ford accessories only.

Thanks !

Great products and thanks again for making the effort to create the perfect fit versions.

I need to get another set of the Raptor puddle lights at some point.

I had bought 2 sets for the 2 white RRs and ended up putting one of them in the new black RR instead. So, now I have one of my RRs still without Raptor puddle lights.
