Fender Badge opinion!

Love my truck but wish there was an identity for the 2.7L V6 on the truck. The euro models actually say V6 on the fender badge. My truck is carbonized grey FX4. The FX4 is in red. I am thinking of pulling off the XLT silver letters and adding one of the options below. Which one would you choose, the V6 or the 2,.7L badge as a replacement?

Nope. Already had 24 RR. lol.

I would do the 2.7.

Leaning that way. More so for the Ford guys who know better. Or the V6 just to keep the rest guessing lol

Well my huge expensive upgrade. Went with the V6. Made more sense and tells a better story. It's the same thickness as the individual XLT letters but being only two letters I think the plate style will hold up better. OEM letters came off clean so I can always put back later if I don't like these. But so far I really like the look. Goes with the red in the F X4.

No, I traded in my 24RR and ordered the 25 XLT FX4 with the 2.7. I had some major issues with the RR, you can look up my prior posts, but the last one was the cam phaser failure at 900 miles, that is when I realized I don't need that much truck, and although pretty cool I would never use the truck as intended, so opted for the 25 with better tow haul and usable features for me. I find the 25 with the 2.7 the perfect blend. All the speed and power, yet better in a lot of ways for the average guy like me.

Been thinking about ordering the ROW side vents that say turbo on em for my 2.3 theres a bi-turbo option for the v6's too. but im not sure they will fit, and right now can only find for dealer prices on ebay.

should fit, the larger ones don't snap in like the OEM, they use 3M tape and cover the hole, and more. Lot of them out there, all seem to do that unless the same size and OEM that snaps in, best I can tell. That is why if you are NOT looking for a larger vent, you can add any emblem aftermarket to fit the area after removing the lettering.
