From methods website, the T1 uses a Darkhorse spec. 5.0L V8, but whats more interesting is the Fox shocks are only 2" diameter tubes. Could be due to the weight since the T1 is a race vehicle with extensive use of aluminum alloys and carbon fiber etc.
I find it a bit ironic how people say the stock 2.5 shocks aren't adequate yet they are on the RR race truck and have survived Fink 3x now and Baja twice. Then the T1 uses even smaller shock diameter mostly likely becuase they are tuned for the lighter vehicle weight.
Sure, there may be reasons to change them, but its not because they over heat or have sub-standard performance. The 2.5s are sized pretty good for the RR.
