No those won't work.Hi! Would old codes on forscan work?
It's important to note just like other new Ford models, the ForScan dev team will also need each module calibration version info to add write-data support. So don't expect mod support out of the box until a few paid license users are able to get issued ForScan betas.ForScan Support Team said:In order to add it to FORScan database, we need the following information:
- VIN
- Exact Vehicle Model
- Engine type and capacity
For example:
1FTER4LR8RLE00000 P703 3.0 GTDI
Unfortunately, Ford databases contain wrong engine information for last gen cars, so it is not possible to get engine type by VIN for newest models like P703 or P708.
Hey mate, just wondering if you ended up ordering a 6th gen Ranger. If so, I'd love to know if you have had much luck with forscan mods with it.No those won't work.
The as built profiles are available for a few 2024 Rangers are already on the Motocraft website. I linked to it in my other post. Have a look for yourself. The modules and calibration strategies are totally different.
There is good news however, the most important modules appear to be the same as the current gen F150 which takes out a lot of the guess work.
I've spoken to the ForScan developers and they can begin to integrate connectivity support into ForScan for the new ranger as soon as we are able to forward them this info:

For example ForScan would be able to see the IPC but likely not be able to write changes to it until updated support is fully integrated into a public release.
The current F150 is no different. Check those forums if your curious to understand more about what I'm talking about.
