Yes, the start stop cable was what I was asking about. Thanks.
The first thing I bought was hood struts. Couldn't believe Ford didn't include them.
Which hood struts did you buy? Do they open the hood more? I've seen some aussie vids where some open less and some open more..

I bought Redline struts 21-11047-02 for Amazon. They fit 2024/25 Ranger. They open hood fully, farther open than the hood pole.

Thanks dude! Is closing the hood still easy? Normally, I just let it drop, so I assume now you have to apply downward force..

I have the Redline kit also. Really happy with it but you can’t just “drop” it to close it. Since it opens higher, I reach up and grab the latch to pull it down and then “gently slam” (if that makes sense) it closed.

You have to push it closed. The hood is very light so it doesn't take much force. But because it is so light the amount force needed to fully latch is a little greater to over come the struts.

Is there a setting in FORScan to disable start/stop? I truly hate it, when I forget to use the switch to turn off I think the engine stalled.
I know there's a cable available that turns it off. But just turning it off in the module seems to be a better solution.
No, get a cable.
Apparently there are several things you have to do in forscan to make it work. Much easier and safer to install the cable. A ten minute job..
