<rant> Ok, I have a gripe on the design of the front A/C Vents. As we all know there are no rear vents for the back seat passengers, so while on a trip with rear passengers, I thought I would angle the vents in the front center toward the back so that the back seat would more of the cold air. But as you slide the vent toward the middle (e.g. away from the driver), that has a dual purpose in that it also closes the air flow the further you angle it away! There is no simple tilt mechanism to redirect the air. I find this to be a dumb design. Most vehicles have the ability to tilt left/right without changing the amount of air flow.

I've noticed something like that, especially with them tilted all the way up. I'm still partial to my Focus's vent design. They just work really well, and having a baffle to adjust flow on the center vents is really great for individual comfort. I guess that's what I really wish we had... separate open/close baffles. Dual air doesn't change flow, and when it's just me, I like maximum flow out of the passenger vents for circulation and dehumidification, but a gentler breeze on myself.

Always something that could be better, I guess.
