I just bought an F150 and feel like the rear air vent is clogged. I installed K&N cold air intake and was advised it was the best cold air intake and I wonder if that is the cause of the blockage. When starting the car, there are many strange noises. Can anyone with experience give me advice?
Engine air and Cabin air are not connected. The filter for the cabin air is probably behind the glove box, but I don't own an F150, so I woudn't know without some research.

It’s science. When you drop a smelting taco fart it circulates less and then dissipates out the window more efficiently.

It’s just a silly and unnecessary deletion from the design. If Ford is deleting something like the rear air vents, what else are they deleting? To me it just sends a signal that they are playing games and going very cheap on the build for what will end up being a $50k truck. It’s the same thing they did with the push-button start. They want to be a customer-first, cool, technology driven company, and then they sell you a five passenger vehicle with no rear vents as an old-school key ignition.
I'm sure I'm in the minority being an old school old fart. But I'd rather have a key than push button start.

my new Frontier has standard rear AC vents, dual zone climate control, push button start and even remote start with key fob. The answers we seek exist outside planet Ford grasshoppers. :p

I'm not an old fart(33) but lack of rear vents don't bug me much. My 19' F150 has them and at best it feels like someone breathing out of them. would i prefer to have them? sure but its no where near a deal breaker for me. Tint is gonna do alot more help to keep a cab cooler than rear vents.

My first two car's had 4/50 AC
4 windows down at 50mph.

AC was not always standard.

you're right! Mine is an actual truck I can drive right now and the Ranger is still a figment of your imagination until proven otherwise!

You’ll see them soon and regret your decision. Also FYI I’m not as desperate for a truck, as you obviously were. Because no matter how you look at it, you settled. Because you wanted a FORD RANGER 😂

Here up until the 90s it was surprisingly rare. Standalone option on the order of auto trans, so smaller/cheaper cars often didn’t have it. Imported cars it was often a dealer installed option with a button blank. I remember it being a great thing when I bought a truck that had actual working AC! & I don’t think I’m that old… (49)

I don’t think it was mean, more like bitterness and or jealousy because he settled for something other than what he wanted. Funny, how’s that funny? It sounds to me like a whiny cry baby stomping his feet and throwing his toys because he couldn’t get what he really wanted, when he wanted it. A Ford Ranger!! Everything this guy post is about bashing ford and bitching because he didn’t want to wait for what he really wanted. I’m not loyal to any brand but I’m not gonna bash anyone because I can’t get what I want. I order a Ranger Raptor because I wanted a Ranger Raptor, and I’ll wait for it. I’m not gonna threaten to buy a Toyota or a Nissan just to have a truck.
This guy is a crybaby and that’s it.
