I now also have a new 25 model .
Picked it up yesterday.
It was about a 5.5 hour trip home it.

Exact same sort of result as I what I saw on the 5 hour plus trip home with my 2024 model about 18 months ago.

That first 100 miles or so was about the only time I ever saw e sniff the 20 mpg .

Fast forward to today.
About a 2 hour trip with the 10 ply 34” tires.

I have 33s back on my 24 model
Mileage with its rack and full tool box is a consistent 15-16 mpg,
The wind drag of the rack and the weight of everything it’s caring 500-700 pounds in the bed.

Tells me it too would likely still get that same 16-18 mpg unloaded like the 25 was getting prior to the 10 ply tires .

My 25 is not running the performance tune.

My 24 is running the Ford performance tune.

Seems no real discernible difference between tuned and stock.

Most all that are getting 20+ mpg are in 2.3 and 2.7 Rangers. I’d question anyone saying they’re getting 20 mpg in a Raptor.

With a FP tune, there’s no way that’s happening. If you’re getting 15-17 mpg, this is the norm for any RR with an FP tune. Anything beyond 17 mpg in the RR, is not normal driving.??
2025 Ranger Raptor: I regularly get 20-22 on the highway, if the trip is longer than 30-40 miles. I use 93 octane (up to 10% ethanol), stock tune, and drive at 75mph max. I have my tire pressure set to the value on the sticker, which I think is either 39 or 41. I use the active cruise control and don't mash the pedal, and accelerate at a moderate pace when getting on the highway.
