Those will bend in and brake the sensor without much force at all…
Folks talk about these being “fully boxed”, which I find confusing due to the fact that none of these solutions have six sides. None of them are sealed in any way. As far as I’m concerned the protective abilities of these guards can only serve to keep the plug from becoming unplugged. Salt and road grime build up will happen regardless to both the plug and the shield.Those of you who have installed them. One quick question, would the design of them allow salt and grime? I live up north and worried salt will get trapped and start to corrode.
