All good! Your efforts on a "step by step" post with pictures are definitely appreciated, though!

I had a the lower swing arm bolt shear off going 70+ on the freeway at night and just barely skidded to a place with some shoulder. This was way back when on my old Civic. Had just bought new tires for it too.

Just another reason why Ford shouldn’t have given another penny to those lazy UAW workers!
That's my boy. But you really shouldn't say anything about hard working Americ..Annnd there another strike. Really, I just wanted to offset any negative comments. I wouldn't dare work for a company that pretty much requires UAW membership but completely understand their historical purpose before it's modern day takeover of American automotive manufacturing.

With that said. I haven't worked for a single company that can figure out how to get a human to figure out the nut needs to go ALL the way on the bolt.

Recall issued. Didn’t see it on my Ford App but it comes up on the Ford website or NHTSA site.
My RR has an August build date.

Put a torque wrench on my ball joint nuts on my August built RR today. Dead on 46 ft lbs. I’ll still take it in to get the recall cleared but glad they weren’t loose.

While my RR was built within the date range of the recall, my VIN is not included according to the NHTSA website. I checked the ball joint nuts and they are tight at 46 ft lbs, so I assume not every Ranger built in the date range is affected.

Interesting… this recall disappeared from my Ford app and from the Ford Recall page.
