Does anyone know if you can add the aussie Ranger Raptor grab handle for driver side and rear passengers to the north american Ranger Raptor. I was wondering if the hard attachment points are still there and could I get the trim stuff and parts from the Aussie market to add them back. The engineer who thought it was a good ideal to save money by deleting the extra grab handles needs to be fired. Getting in the rear seats is really hard for older people without them almost dangerous. Its just crazy some of the cost cutting they did on the North American Ranger, grab handles should be standard on a truck that sets up so high. Rear vents removal was another stupid moment at Ford for deleting them too. Why make it harder to get in the truck to save a dime and also remove a comfort feature like the rear vents, way to think about your customers Ford. On happier point Got my Green Raptor last week love the vehicle just wish it had the Grab handles for my friend and his wife who are an older couple. Its real hard for them to get in the rear seats because of the lack of grab handles.

I really wish Ford would include a driver's grab handle. In the winter, with ice and snow, it can be treacherous getting in the truck.

Its all about reducing net cost at the manufactures end. Some deletion of items make sense others not. this also goes with deleting engine covers, hood lift struts, even nuts and bolts throughout. Keeping the cost down and MSRP reasonable. Yes, how about making the items available for purchase afterward.

I agree pulling on the steering wheel that does not sound like a good thing not mention wear and tear on it. I would pay the extra to have the grab handles some things should not be cost cutted. Making it not conventent to get in your truck is bad cost cutting. Every F150, Euro Ranger, Mexican Ranger, South African Ranger and Asian Ranger have them. Why did they delete them for the North American market only, surely one of the riches markets customers can afford the grab handles. That is a picture of the Mexican Market Raptor Ranger notice the grab handles and it also has rear air vents. I think the North American market guys really do not think these things out. For a older person getting in the rear seat in a Raptor it is a real problem. I would just like to know can I just add them with the OEM Ford parts catalog from overseas.

... For a older person getting in the rear seat in a Raptor it is a real problem. I would just like to know can I just add them with the OEM Ford parts catalog from overseas.

I watched a video the other day where a guy was taking his Ranger Raptor interior apart to sound deaden it. He had to remove the A-pillar interior panels and also wanted to add a grab handle from a foreign market, but said it could not be done because everything on the US Raptor A-pillar (wiring, airbag, etc.) is located differently so it would not be a one-to-one fit.

I hope NA Ford is listening to their customers we want our grab handles and rear vents. You have these features on the F150 and there is no reason that the NA Ranger should not have them they do not cost that much. Especially when the other markets have them including Mexico. I guess when some old person falls trying to get into rear seat on a Raptor Ranger and break something and Ford gets sued for it then we may get them back in NA. Because it really hard for some old people to get in the back without them.

I would love to see how the rear seat grab handles on the overseas Ranger are mounted. To see if the rear seat ones can be added to the North American Ranger. Because the b pillar has no air bags.

Lets be real, the backs seats of this truck arent meant to be used. They are the equivalent of back seats in any 4 door sports car or any 2 door sports car. The truck would not sell well being 2 door only, so its easy to make it 4 door and put seats there.

Also being upset you bought a lifted truck and are struggling to get in it, like some how the truck magically got taller before you bought it is absurd.

The cab is small enough rear vents are not needed. This isnt some 3 row SUV, its a a mid size truck cabin. Everything is within arms reach, your rear passengers or furry friends arent going to struggle with two tiny vents not being there.

Pulling on the steering wheel is not going to wear it out either, thats not how it works.

Someone thought they were needed otherwise why does every Ranger made outside of the US market have them, rear air vents and grab handles. Thats not the point anyways there was no reason for them to delete them from the vehicle period other than cost. Plus the rear seat is way more useable and no where near as small as a sports car. Ive owned sports cars and none had the rear seat room that this Ranger has. I dont have trouble getting in the Truck but it would be nice to have anyway because they make it easier for everyone getting in the truck. I guess someone like you seem to know what everyone needs and wants now thats absurd on your part. I really dont know anyone except you that loves the Ideal of no Rear air vents or Grab handles.

My other sport car has rear air vents and has less rear seat room than my Ranger. my Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has them.

Does the ROW rangers have a different airbag system? the curtain airbag may be what's keeping them from putting handles in.
