I am planning to add lighting to my Ranger along with some other mods that I'd like to be able to run longer without turning on the truck to charge the battery.
Has anyone installed a group 27 battery and do they really make a huge difference in the application I'm describing?

The question you’re asking is like asking, I want to add a solar pannels to my house. How much will I save on my electricity bill. The question is way too general to answer. There are answers to you question but the answer is in the details.

Huh. We all know solar panels may reduce ones electric bill, but then you've gotta pay the capital cost of the panels so its not a good investment.
What factors do I need to consider for a Group 27 battery? Is it mostly about wattage use and time used that drive the conversation?
