I have gotten 2 messages that my 2025 truck had gone into battery saver mode after the truck sat for 4 or 5 days without being driven. I took it to the dealer this morning. They looked in the system and stated that there were codes of communication being lost with the server (not a check engine light) and then they put it on this extensive battery test machine that checks every aspect. After that they determined that it had a bad cell and replaced it under warranty. They did tell me however that the truck communicating with the server and ford pass does take a small amount of juice from the battery over time.

Thanks for that info. I brought mine to the dealership on Tuesday and of course all the battery readings were dead on. The week before not only was it reading under 12v with ignition on but when the truck was running it was at just over 13v. They said they checked the battery and it’s fine. Told me to keep an eye on it and take photos if the readings drop. It did drop this morning to about 11.7. I must ask about an extensive battery test.

Are you seeing the 11.7 on a multimeter? Mine was reading 11.9 after the message On Ford Pass. They have 2 machines. One is a small handheld and this one was large and on a wheeled cart. They said the data from that gets transmitted to ford to get a replacement authorized. It can take up to 2 hours.

I've noticed that when the truck is running my battery reading(on the dash) is about 14.7 volts, normal. When it's not running it's about 11.8
how do you get the charge or battery voltage to display on the dash? On my ‘25 bronco sport it’s an option in sport mode but I haven’t found it for my Ranger lariat.
