Any tips on getting rid of these marks on the windshield from what I can only assume was from the installation at the factory.

It has gotten "better" over time but it still appears in the sun or it's the first part to fog up.

I've used various different glass cleaners and techniques without getting too aggressive. This is the best I've gotten it no matter how many times I go over that spot it's on both drivers and passenger side

Mine faded over time and disappeared fully when I took it to a touchless car wash and did the “top-tier” wash.

I’ve already had to replace a windshield due to rocks on the highway. Turns out my factory one was “installed all the way to right” which caused wind noise and messed with the lane keeping camera.

It definitely does less ping ponging in the lane since I got the new one.

Razor blade & a degreaser like brake wash is something I’d take a whack at it with.

A detail shop write up for vehicles that have been "barn finds" says 00 steel wool on windshields will not clean them up without scratches.

I am sorry --- I didn't re-read my post before hitting enter -- it should say - 00 steel wool will clean them up without scratches. The extra 'not' got past me.

Bought mine on7/12/24 and used multiple glass cleaners, tried newspaper, even took some homemade 140 proof moonshine to it and the circles are still present

The McKee company makes a product for glass water spots. It is very effective.

Use automotive BrakeClean (don't get it on your paint), it'll take off almost every kind of glue, grease, oil, etc.

I use Sam’s Club magic erasers and spray foam window cleaner on the windshield of all my vehicles. It takes dead bugs and everything else off the windshield. Then wipe it with a soft waffle weave or plush terrycloth towel. I let the magic eraser dry and keep it with my cleaning products. Once it wears out, just toss it. Hope this helps everyone.
