Help With Amber Lighting for 2024 XLT

Am I stupid? Trying to install Amazon amber lights on 2024 Ranger through fuse box. Won’t turn on. Please help, feel like I’m missing something obvious.

dumb question.. have you tried connecting the lights directly to the battery to confirm they turn on?

also note that alot of fuses are powered when "engine on" only.

There are so many diagrams for the different trims on the ranger, the raptor has some of the same fuses and some different than the xl/xlt/lariat , however i did find a thread that had a schematic that lined up with my fuse box exactly, unfortunately i doubt i can find it again. Do not go by any "fuse box layout stickers from amazon" they are incorrect. Try to find the direct ford fuse diagram for your trim.

Just noticed that as well, I made my negative connection to the - battery and positive connection here, my lights are on when engine on for reference.

Hello! I went through this pain not too long ago and went direct to fuse box myself. 25 XLT
Only worked with engine on, what I ended up doing is wiring it to the side marker on the driver side so now it turns on with the unlock button as well as at night when my lights are on.
Since the side markers aren’t DRL, they don’t stay on mid day while driving but this is something you can change with forscan. The only other option is to wire into actual headlamps/DRL if what you’re looking for is DRL for the ambers

otherwise the side markers setup I have works great and are on when the lights are on or with unlock button for a quick picture

if you’d like I can try and find the video showing the wiring process for the side markers

Please note I didn’t use t connectors as they are fragile, I cut the wire clean and rewired pos and neg using heat shrink butt connectors
