How long does it take after the dealer places the order until I should see an email from Ford?

It took about a month before I got my first email from Ford. Even went back to the dealership to make sure the order was even placed

If put in as a Retail order with your name and email, you should get an email pretty much the same day the dealership puts in the order to Ford.

Its impossible for a customer to put in a stock order unless your dealership is doing something shitty. Email can take several days, mine was a week or so.

Looks like it depends. Dealer put the retail order in 6 days ago and looked in the system a couple days later and told me that ford had it but it wasnt scheduled yet. That was 6 days ago. Looks like I need to give it another week or two.

When order banks opened last year for MY24, dealers were entering the majority as stock orders. Then about a month later due to a lot of people saying they got retail orders, I had my dealer look into it and they changed mine from stock order to retail order. I got an email the same day from Ford confirming my order. This happened to a huge amount of people here. Probably more the result of dealerships not understanding how to handle the RR release but it happened.
So not impossible, and "dealership" and "shitty" often go in the same sentence. ?

The order sheet he sent me that the GM and I signed did say retail at the top. I was thinking the fact that these 25's arent being scheduled yet might have something to do with it.

I placed my order on 10/21/24 and have yet to receive any emails from ford. My dealer said the ford email system is horrible and many never get emails. Scheduling for ‘25 RR started last week. Hopefully they start scheduling other trim levels this week.

Check out the weekly build updates on the Long MacArthur you tube channel. They release it every Thursday. They will give you the number of orders and current scheduling dates as well as any delays.

I had mine before I left the dealer. The dealer made me double check that he had the address correct because he said if it's wrong, it's hard to fix.

OK, I got the confirmation email today so it took 7 days. The dealer also sent me a screenshot of the retail order in the Ford system and the priority code is now 03. It looks like mine is the first 2025 order he has. He still has one 2024 order that hasn't shipped yet also. Now we wait!

Got my confirmation from Ford about an hour after being at the dealer. Will have to see how long till a VIN number and build date show up.
