that would work for me too, problem is that all the trucks that have been assigned a VIN probably can not be changed to reflect 2025, when these trucks get delivered they will be current year for a month or two before they become a year old

First off, we’re only two months into 2024. Second, I ordered May 26th 2023, the first day the order bank opened. My dealer told me that day that I was looking at six to eight months before I might, emphasizing might, see the truck. February 26th makes nine months since I ordered. The strike lasted six weeks so as of right now we’re not too far off schedule actually. I’ve got a VIN & build week of March 11th so maybe it’s going to be eleven months before I see it? So what, I’ve waited this long, I’m sure as hell not walking away now & I’ll have a 2024 before the year is half over so talking 2025 is really quite absurd at this point of this process.

I'm so glad that you finally got your VIN/build date. I know how frustrated you were. I'm only upset that you ended up with a build date that's sooner than mine! lol

Thanks, ya I was very frustrated & I see others that are experiencing the same thing & I really feel for them. I’m glad you have a build date also & hopefully it all holds steady & our trucks get built. I wish you well. ?
