Ideas for the center dashboard area?

I would like to know if any of you have done something in the area shown in the picture. It is basically a "nothing" space... it only shows 2 indicators for airbag (I guess)... and nothing else.
I believe that behind the big area (like a lid), in some version there is a subwoofer, but mine does it have it.

I would like to see you you have done there or what would you like to do.

I was wondering that it may be converted to a kind of gloves box?

and I also installed 2 cup holders from raptor.. see the picture how it looks like now. Originally, the truck comes with a kind of "space" to put "nothing" there, since it was too small.

can someone let me know how that is "called"? I mean, the part where you have the speaker and where I want to find some ideas.
Basically, because I want to start digging on google for ideas, but I am not sure if that is dashboard, console, center console or other name.,
