Ideas for the center dashboard area?

I would like to know if any of you have done something in the area shown in the picture. It is basically a "nothing" space... it only shows 2 indicators for airbag (I guess)... and nothing else.
I believe that behind the big area (like a lid), in some version there is a subwoofer, but mine does it have it.

I would like to see you you have done there or what would you like to do.

I was wondering that it may be converted to a kind of gloves box?

and I also installed 2 cup holders from raptor.. see the picture how it looks like now. Originally, the truck comes with a kind of "space" to put "nothing" there, since it was too small.

Thanks for sharing the information regarding the tweeter. Honestly, it looks like to much work, I was thinking in something simpler just to make that area more usable or take advantage of that space. I will leave as is for now.. the best thing there would be a clock.

I popped the grill off, inserted a toll Transponder/Transmitter (newer style), and popped the grill back on. Works beautifully and no windsheild clutter.

The only thing I've ever heard perched gauges or warning lamps called is a "binnacle", which references a ship's raised compass housing.

In the US, we call the area above the steering wheel a gauge cluster. In other places, it's called an instrument binnacle. I can only surmise that a similar name would befit the warning lamp cluster.
