The Everest, Bronco, Ranger, and VW Amarok share variations of the T6.2 platform.

The way I interpret it is they are going to use the Bronco variant T6, to have rear coils. But it will most likely look like the Everest, why wouldn't it? A few parts swapped, a new grille, and you have an all new model for the US with little effort.

This new Lincoln is going to be Bronco based (not Everest). It won't look anything like the Everest rendering shown in the article.

I would definitely prefer Everest based.

Anything is possible, but Ford is making MAP 100% Bronco centric. Bronco, Lincoln Bronco and Bronco pickup. It’s all part of expanding the Bronco branding. It also allows for greater parts commonality and efficiency. Bringing a Lincoln Everest to MAP isn’t likely in my opinion.
