Do you ship these toppers, or do you have to pick it up in CA.
ā€˜Not seeing any shipping info of details about shipping on the website.
cc1999 while i was getting mine installed at their office-warehouse, i saw one canopy in boxing ready to ship to Seattle, WA.

I trucker agent was there and i over heard the costs to ship was around $600.

i am pretty sure it can be shipped to anywhere in US maybe except to Hawaii.

You can call the office to inquire that.
If driving and time is not an issue, driving and have them installing is recommended.

it took 5 hours for mine to install and the sealing it between the canopy and truck bed is important to keep it waterproof

Right now just thinking I wished I had seen these were offered here in the US before I bought my new A.R.E which is a super nice topper, but I do like Maxliners better, and would have bought one of these instead. Now I am thinking , what are the odds I could find someone with a white Ranger intersted in new ARE topper. I could possibly sell my ARE and buy a Maxliner, probably a long shot.

Also I generally only keep my trucks 2-3 years. I am sure I will trade my 24 for a new 26 or 27 model in a year or so. Maybe get one then. Just good to know that it is possible to buy these hear in the US now. I had seen pics of them in Australia , even posted some pics in the topper thread here when I was doing my topper research. I loved the look and features b, just had no idea there was an importer selling them here in the US.

At the very least I know now got my next / future builds that I can get one of these.

I am sure it has to be more expensive then my ARE which is a very nice well built topper, but this Maxliner is at whole different level to any other toppers I have seen on the market.
I have including installations options and tax just short of $5k invested in my A.R.E.
Guessing I would have to be planning on more in the $6k+ range for one of these Ventureā€˜s, maybe more with shipping and options.

Yeah, since you like Ranger format and Maxliner is just starting in US, more stuff will come. I also noticed in Australia there are after market companies making accessories for them.
I did talked with there engineers to add, rear window wipers and video cam options.
They will think about this.
I was also told the rear window can come off by unplugging the wiring to defroster quite easily. This is similar to the side windows can be taken off and changed to solid ones.
I also complain their top rails needs to improve with a rail system can can allow roof crossbars and roof racks more brand options. This way, will increase the flexibility of the canopy

You mean the canopy? I paid $4400 for the 2 tone plus taxes. The matt black is $4100.
That is not bad, I was sure they would be higher then Leer and A.R.E toppers.

I'm torn between the ARE and Maxliner....I really want the Maxliner, but they don't have an Oxford White option available at this time, and have no plans to offer it in the future from what they've told me....

Anybody have any idea what these things weigh? I’m in the Seattle (Tacoma) area and seriously considering one, but it’d have to be shipped directly to my residence and in black. Then I’ll have to deal with it myself.
Unfortunately like the Oxford White I can’t get the 2 tone Desert Tan option (even though it’s shown on their website - complete & total letdown). Lousy excuse as to why that is was given to me as well. Disappointing again. If you’re going to show & list the option on your website then you really should be ready to offer it!
They haven’t given me an answer on the weight of these units either (I’ve emailed & asked) so I have zero idea on the struggle of what it might take to install it myself in the driveway. That’s why I haven’t pulled the trigger and it might force my hand to spend my money elsewhere. But I’m really hooked on the looked of these units, not so much on the logistics & options of their offerings.

Perfect thanks! That’s actually not all that heavy. Easy to set on the truck with a couple buddies. 4 total would be a breeze with a guy on each corner. Just over 200 lbs. is pretty damn light compared to a fully blown fiberglass model.

So the white I see on their website is not the correct white for our trucks?

I posted these pics of them in white?

Yes.

They have a great configurator to play around with to get the look you want.

Yeah, unfortunately they show options on the website that aren't actually available for purchase. Incredibly frustrating!

I really want one in full Oxford White :(

Very interesting.
If that’s the case , I would still have bought the ARE that I bought last month.
ā€˜I was sort of bummed I didn’t know about these Maxliners before I bought my ARE.
ā€˜I love the Maxliner design and features. But no body color match (white) would have been a deal breaker.
ā€˜I would have ended up ordering the ARE that I did.

Yeah, Maxliner told me the brochure could be all countries and they don’t have much demand in US so limited colors. I had to choose a truck to match the 2 tone. They do not have all painted for US market so i picked 2 tone.

Today, i went to their warehouse and install the crossbar. It took almost 3 hours to take out the premium rails(standard on the canopy).
They have to take the rails off, scape the silicon and install the crossbar directly for a lower profile. I didn’t want the funky crossbar that clamped on rails so hence the removal.
Here are some photos. It costs me $289 and the install was free. I felt bad so i gave the tech a tip for their hard work.

btw, i am no way involved with them to help post and i paid full price for all the stuff.

i plan to put my Thule cargo box when i need to and try to figure out how to mount 270 awning and keep the top height less than 6 foot 8 inches. Many indoor parking lots freak me out as i approach the beams or structure and do want to scrape. Something there isn’t any outdoor parking like some business areas and malls. Good luck with whichever topper you guys come up with and please share your experience.

thanks
